With Hands-Free Cleaning® machines, you get more done, in the same amount of time, for a reduced cost.

When you use Hands-Free machines, you will realize true multi-tasking. With the robot handling the floor cleaning, staff can focus on other projects.

With Intelli-Trak™ remote monitoring system, communication both to and from the robot makes it possible to report (remotely) on utilization performance. In addition, it is now possible to remotely perform diagnostics -- which help prevent or reduce machine downtime -- as well as remotely add software updates.

EcoSave® filtration system means that using a Hands-Free machine addresses concerns about negative environmental impact. With Eco Save®, the scrubbers use up to 85% less water and chemistry per eight-hour shift than traditional manual scrubbers.

Why is this series called the GenX? The current model is actually the 9th generation of the machine, however because it was so advanced, we skipped the 9th generation, thus Generation 10 (GenX).
How many robots are in the series? Currently there are three machines being produced: SWINGOBOT 1650™ a scrubber for hard surfaces; DUOBOT 1850™ a sweeper/scrubber for hard surfaces; and AEROBOT 1850™ a true vacuum.
Where do the robots work best?

The Hands-Free machines are controlled by a sophisticated software package that can handle many different environments. That said, some areas are much better suited for the machine than others.

Best choice – straight hallways/areas; plain flat walls with little to no variation are best; slight variations such as columns, trash bins or drinking fountains aren’t an issue
Best hallway/room width – hallways must be minimum of 6 ft. wide (1.83 meters); 7 ft. is best (2.13 meters); maximum width is 60 ft. (18.29 meters)

Can the Hands-Free machine communicate through the Internet? They can communicate through the Internet if it is available in the building, or with a wireless card that is fitted to the Hands-Free machine. Productivity reports can be sent to one or more supervisors on any set schedule or on demand.
What is Intelli-Trak™? Intelli-Trak™ is TASKI Intellibot’s fleet management system. It provides performance information, remote assistance, and reduced downtime.

Accountability – Wireless reports show operator identification, date of use, start time, machine location(s), cleaning time, and any performance issues.
Remote assistance – System diagnostics identify problems and instantly alert service; technicians can remotely resolve many issues without a service call
Reduced downtime – 24/7 reporting from each unit allows for easier management, lower service costs, faster service response, and reduced downtime.

What is the safety record of Hands-Free Cleaning® machines? There has never been an incident that resulted in a claim for bodily harm or property damage. Our highest priority of the Hands-Free machine is safety. Sonar obstacle detection, infrared floor sensors, and touch shields ensure the Hands-Free machines cannot cause damage or get damaged.

Is there a minimum facility size that supports the purchase of a TASKI Intellibot Hands-Free Cleaning® machine? A number of elements must be evaluated. Since Hands-Free machines are by nature machines that increase productivity, the facility needs to be large enough to provide the opportunity to save costs. We have found this size is typically larger than 25,000 sq. ft. (2,323 sq. meters).
How many square feet/hour (square meters/hour) does the machine clean? Based on years of real world experience, we find the Hands-Free machine will clean about 10,000 sq. ft. per hour (929 square meters/hour). While this rate is less than reported rates of similar-sized manual scrubbers, we find that the Hands-Free machine cleans at a rate very close to the “real” or true rate, which must include time for breaks, meals, and dumping/refilling the solution tanks for traditional machines.
Can the speed of the Hands-Free machine be adjusted? That feature is not offered today.
How long will the Hands-Free machine run on a battery charge? We get about 4 hours of run time per battery set. Since Intellibot machines have interchangeable batteries, a Battery Exchange Kit (BEK) can extend run time by about four hours. The BEK allows for charging one set of batteries while the other set is in use in the machine, thus extending run time to about 8 hours/day. Batteries need 18 hours to fully charge.
What type of batteries do the machines use? We use sealed gel cell deep cycle batteries, 180 AH, 24 VDC output. There is no maintenance.
How long will these batteries last? With correct charging practices, these batteries typically last 3 years or more (about 1,000 charge cycles based on full-charge discharge cycles).
How close to the wall can the Hands-Free machine run? The default setting for the wall hug is 8 inches (20.3 cm).
What is the advantage of recycling the water/cleaning solution in the scrubbers? Eco Save® filtration system saves water and chemicals. Also, having to find the machine every 45 to 60 minutes to take it somewhere to dump or refill the cleaning solution tanks would negatively affect the productivity of the Hands-Free machine (as it does with traditional scrubbers). With recycling, the Hands-Free machine can run for a full shift without interruption.
How does the recycling work on the Hands-Free scrubbers? The Eco Save® filtration system pumps the cleaning solution through four filters. Dirty cleaning solution is pulled up into the tank where it is first screened for larger debris. An in-tank filter starts the cleaning process, which is then followed by two cloth filters that can be run in series or in parallel. The filters are able to screen down to 1 micron. The Healthcare Hands-Free machine also treats the cleaning solution with a UV light immediately before it’s placed on the floor, killing 99.9% of bacteria.
What is the ecological impact of recycling? It means that less water and fewer chemicals go down the drain. A major retailer in the United States has estimated that they will save more than 31,000 gallons (117,348 liters) of water per year for each store. In addition, they will save hundreds of dollars in chemicals.
Do the Hands-Free scrubbers use a special chemistry? Any low foaming chemistry used in a manual scrubber can be used in a Hands-Free scrubber.
How long does a TASKI Intellibot floor-care machine last? For economic analysis, we use a five-year life span. With constant upgrades to software and the high quality components, many customers have enjoyed use of their machines well past five years. Reducing human contact also reduces damage to the scrubber and facility. It is not unreasonable to expect a longer life span depending on application.
